State of the USA – 11/2009

Introduction – We will look at some factual things taking place in the USA to surmise the dismal state of affairs there.

Health Insurance – There are at least 50 million without health insurance. In 2008 it is was 46.8 million without healthcare according to the US Census Bureau. Lack of health insurance caused 45,000 preventable deaths in 2008. A John Hopkins Children’s Center study said 17,000 children died due to a lack of healthcare. In 2008 2,266 US Veterans died due to a lack of healthcare. These figures will rise shortly as unemployment worsens, savings get depleted and the economy worsens.

Food Stamps – 50% of US children will need to use food stamps to eat. Just in passing who is going to pay for these food stamps?

Unemployed – The number of unemployed is about 25 million. Jobs lost figures will continue to keep dropping through the end of 2010 and maybe longer. Until the lost jobs are replaced would take some additional years, like until 2012 if they attained an economic recovery at all which appears most unlikely.

Guns – The gun industry is booming with over 200 companies producing ammunition and guns as fast as they can sell them. People are arming themselves like never before. It appears these guns are predominantly intended to be used against the government, not each other.

Militia – In the past year 100 new-armed militia groups have been formed in addition to those already in existence. Please be aware that many if not all of these groups would be infiltrated by government agents or even formed and run by government agents. Watch for false flag incidents as the government reaches out for scapegoats. The underground militia is now telling people to avoid any militia groups at all and operate as lone wolves or in groups of 2-3 and do operations without letting anyone know their plans. This makes them ten times more dangerous to the government. The plot thickens.

Inequality of Wealth – The USA has the highest inequality of wealth in its entire history. The wealth of the 400 richest Americans went up by $30,000,000,000 bringing their combined wealth to $157,000,000,000,000 (1.57 trillion dollars).

Foreclosures – There was a new record hit during the third quarter of 2009, 937,840 foreclosure notices were sent. It is expected that 3.4 million homes will enter foreclosure by years end.

Bank Failures – So far this year there have been 123 bank failures and more on the way. The FDIC is already getting more reserves which means more running the printing presses and they are also charging the banks more which means lower interest rates and higher bank fees.

States Filing Bankruptcy – The states themselves are on the verge of filing bankruptcy. There are now 10 such states – California, Arizona, Florida, Michigan, Illinois, Nevada, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin. The net effect of this will be higher taxes, government job cuts and state government services would be sharply curtailed. Social support services would be reduced or eliminated. Prison populations would need serious reductions. Let us not overlook cities and counties also filing bankruptcy. Pensions can be wiped out or greatly reduced as a result of bankruptcy filings.

Poverty Level Living – 47 million people live at the poverty level in the USA. What a shame. This is the highest poverty rate in the industrialized world. 50 million people including one out of every four children struggled to get enough to eat last year. These are 2008 numbers, which have gotten significantly worse as the economy declined in 2009.

Homeless – Over 3 million people were homeless at least once during the last year. What a shame.

Middle Class – It is disappearing. Workers 401k plans have lost 25% of their value. Combine this with the loss of the purchasing power of the dollar and it is like 50% decline in value or higher.

Obama $75 billion Dollar Job Program – This was a dismal failure.

Rebellion of Mainstream Religious Leaders – Catholic and Evangelical religious leaders are calling for their followers to go into civil disobedience rather than follow Obama polices which are against the bible such as pro abortion and same sex marriages. This is the beginning of making the government irrelevant and is also taking the government closer to a revolution. Rest assured Obama will keep his head in the ground like an ostrich. He does not know what to do.

Ft. Hood and Obama’s Overtly Pro-Moslem Stance – Obama all but comes out and declares himself to be a Moslem. The shooter at Ft. Hood who killed many people and wounded others on a US military base was a Moslem. This puts Obama in a bad spot. He will do nothing playing the role of ostrich again. Unless he comes out with an overtly anti-moslem position he is going to lose the support of the military pushing the country closer to a revolution.

Revolution – It seems to be going in this direction. You have homeless people, unemployed people, a declining dollar, dwindling savings, plunging home equity, pension plans deteriorating, people going hungry, high foreclosures, bank failures, two wars not being won at great expense economically with loss of lives and numerous wounded, repossessed cars, rising cost of living, millions unable to afford healthcare, a police state irritating the people even further, and no end in sight. Combine this with a President who appears to be a Moslem, has awful economic policies, breaks campaign promises, and in general does nothing right. What is missing is a flash point or a trigger. Something to make Johnnie grab his gun. A leader needs to emerge advocating dumping the government. Religious leaders did this gently. Obama can’t go and arrest religious leaders but then again maybe he is that dumb. This will really get the people angry. If Obama loses the military support which he may already have lost then the door is open for revolution. The high ranking officers will probably side with Obama but the regular soldiers will probably not do anything to US citizens or infringe on their rights. It is getting interesting for sure. And what does the mainstream US media say? Of they talk of the end of the recession! It is a depression and there is no end in sight.
