Introduction – Some of you may want a bank account in Panama and a bank account in another country like Belize, Saint Vincent Grenadines or Guatemala. This is adding in more jurisdictions and corporations to obscure the money trail, provide warning without loss of any sort of a financial enemy launching an attack on your money and keep people from being able to determine where in the world your assets are. You could wire the funds to a corporation in one country, then on to a different corporation in another county and then into a foundation in Panama, or do the reverse or any combination you can think of.
This may be useful to eliminate wire trails leading directly to the bank where the lions share of your assets are being kept. If your financial enemies were well financed it would take years to get records from one country and then another country and for a third country a long time. Some of you may just want an additional bank account in another country or two so your eggs are not all in one basket. This is a way to really secure your hard earned wealth.
Offshore Banking Secrecy – We have researched the market carefully and our research has led us to believe that excellent bank secrecy can be found in Panama, Belize, Saint Vincent Grenadines, and Guatemala. Panama is the only country with no tax treaties of any sort but we find the other jurisdictions to be secure. These other countries are in various tax treaties and information sharing agreements but in general unless you are having a national government pursue you regarding a criminal case you will have no problems. None of these countries recognize civil judgments form other countries.
Panama Corporations and Foundations – Our research has shown our law firm that the Panama Corporations are the most secure and anonymous. They are bearer share corporations. Whoever owns the shares owns the corporation. The shares can be made out in blank and kept anywhere in the world. The books and records can be kept anywhere in the world. Panama does not tax income derived from offshore sources (offshore to Panama) and there is no need to even file a tax return in Panama if all the income is derived from outside of Panama. Panama does not tax capital gains from bank interest, stock or futures trading and there is no inheritance tax. The owners’ names of any Panama Corporation do not appear in any public registry or database. The government of Panama does not even know who the owners are.
When a wire travels in or out of the bank account, the name of the account appears in the wire. The name of the bank account is the name of the corporation or foundation, not you. Your name never appears in the wire. Thus it is like the old Swiss numbered bank accounts except we are using a name of a corporation or foundation instead of a number, both just as anonymous. The central banks and governments monitoring the wires cannot determine whom the natural persons are that own the bank account. The bank knows but that is covered by bank secrecy. With a Panama foundation it is similar. While the Panama foundation has no owners just beneficiaries they are kept secret. Since there is no owner of a Panama foundation it cannot be you. The bank would know who you are but that is covered by bank secrecy. These are just some of the reasons why we think Panama Corporations are the most secure and cost effective solutions available.
Account Opening Time Frame – From the time we receive the required documents and payment it will take 10-15 working days to have the corporations and foundations formed and the bank accounts opened. Time frames vary according to the bank, the country, your country and other variables. Generally bank signature cards need to be sent by courier and this takes a few days. Sometimes they can be printed out. We can use shelf corporations (extra $200 each) or do 24-hour rush formations (extra $280 each) to shave a few days off the process. It is not required that you visit the bank.
