Executive Summary – The new health care bill calls for penalties of $2500 or 2% of their income (net, gross, adjusted, who knows) whichever is greater for each person not buying the new healthcare. The bill authorizes the IRS to take this out of tax refunds and collect in general it appears this money like take it out of bank accounts, garnish wages, etc. It is said that this would mean an additional $10 billion over 10 years and 17,000 more IRS employees to comply with the new healthcare bill. So the IRS grows in power and stature, great.
