New Restore the Republic Movements – Funding, Enforcement and Other Challenges

Introduction – What I am going to do here is not attack any specific movements. I am going to be movement neutral as much as possible form this point forward. If I see a movement that meets these criteria I will then jump in and go positive but a lot more cautiously than I did with RAP. Sounds like a contradiction but not really. I am going to point out the challenges that a movement will have to meet in order to succeed.

There are too many people who sit on boards and forums knocking the movements and the people individually in the movements. This accomplishes very little. The idea is to get involved. Try to change a movement. Start your own. Do something. My idea here is to use this website to list some challenges. This may help others cut through the many movements and focus on movements most likely to succeed. Ok am I arrogant and only I know such things? Well read the challenges and feel free to attack the challenges and provide an analysis as to why you believe so. I am of late posting rebuttals to arguments. I do not care who restores the republic, just so the job gets done. Attacking ideas is fine, people no.

Private Funding – Let's take a look at the magnitude of this problem. First let's imagine we have a pied piper who blows his constitutional flute and gets hoards of wealthy nations or persons to follow him as he blows his flute leading them into the restored Treasury of the Republic. We all see Bill Gates as a wealthy fellow. What is he worth maybe one billion. Ok if we use a figure of $17 trillion to run the republic for say a year that means we would need 17000 people who have the same amount as Bill gates to donate all their money to the republic in order to raise $17 trillion. One trillion is one thousand billion. Now this when looked at this way is not very likely is it? If we say ok say they only give 10% of their wealth then this brings us up to 170,000 such rich people. Sounding foolish yet? Now these people are going to want a return on their investment I would expect.

They are also likely to want and ask for concessions. Concessions is likely to mean corruption on some level. Example: Ok I will contribute but I want to be the only cell phone provider in Georgia. Wealthy people do not just hand over money just to be nice guys. I do not think this is a very realistic expectation to think all these wealthy folks will come forward just because you have restored the republic. What is in it for them? If they do come they will want to control and exploit the republic. If they did ever come how in the world would you ever get such a large amount of people to agree on a path for their investments that was acceptable to all. Have you ever dealt with extremely rich people? They have a belief that whoever has the gold makes the rules. Imagine trying to get even 25 of them to agree on a financial backing plan? Imagine a hundred or a thousand and so forth. They are going to want business exclusives, licenses, monopolies, contracts etc. and there goes the restored republic. I think we all need to consider the funding with a lot more focus on details or we are going to be running down rabbit trails to nowhere.

Government Funding – First off a foreign power funding a restored republic can be construed as an act of war against the de facto government. This act of war would likely be transferred over to the movement that was being funded. Funds wherever collected could be attached as proceeds of a war crime. The de facto is not going to just let you sit around and raise money to run an alternative government or throw them out. Think about this. Foreign national governments are not going to just expose themselves like this with an unknown wild card entity which would be the restored republic. That is how they would look at it. Many nations hate the de facto government for sure. But they are not about to fund you. You are a big risk with serious consequences. If they had any guts they would have gone off of the dollar by now, wouldn't they? Come on ask yourself this question as to why they are still on the dollar which is backed by nothing. Other countries are just waiting for the de facto to collapse. They can wait. Time is on their side.

Funding with Military Support – This might work. But then the military would have to be right out in the open. Have they or would they ever do this? Your guess is as good as mine all I can say is we have ZERO proof they ever backed any movement. Even if they did it then the concessions in exchange for the money would have to be made and then where does that leave the republic. It leaves it already corrupted at onset.

Gold – Does anyone know the gold is in Ft. Knox? Not really. What if it has been moved, sold, stolen etc. Whoops no gold/silver coinage or gold/silver backed currency. Goodbye hard currency for the restored republic. So how many more trillion does this take to stock in the gold/silver? Where do you get that money? If a movement tries to say take over the federal reserve bank they will correctly be accused of unconstitutional behavior on a big issue. This would cause splits, factions, divisions etc. and collapse a movement, maybe. Remember China was rec3ently buying all the gold coins off of the market in thew world for hoarding. They could do this to gold in the USA. They could take gold/silver coins out and store them.

Sovereigns not trusting of the new republic can start to hoard gold/silver as well reducing the amount in circulation. One could go to a gold backed paper currency and restrict redemptions only to citizens in certain quantities. Solves some problems but will be objected to by many. Also value of gold/silver can be manipulated by foreign governments in the markets and thus drive the economy up and down with people looking for alternate investments safe from fluctuation like real estate. The problems are thick and deep and good solutions need to be arrived at for any plan to get anywhere. Do not think money is going to miraculously appear when you are a republic.

People Supported by the Government – How many people are being supported by the government? Who really knows? There is social security, 46 million receiving food stamps, welfare in various forms, section 8 housing, medicaid or medicare whatever they call it, student loans, and many other programs. If you just cut off these recipients you will have civil unrest. There is no recession in the neighborhoods where the people are receiving cradle to the grave government entitlement programs. Today section 8 housing will pay perhaps $1100 a month rent for a family. They are supposed to pay 5% of that which they never do. The landlords like it because they get a check every month for 95% of the rent on time. With property values down these people can easily rent a $250,000 to $350,000 house (based on old property values) that is sitting vacant. Refer to this as executive level hosing. Jacuzzi's, swimming pools, barbeques, two car garages with electric openers, alarm systems, central air and heat etc.

These folks do not have to get up and go to work every day or ever. These people can take on a common law spouse who works and this does not knock them off the program because there is no recorded marriage certificate. Now they get medical for free, food stamps, money to live on and their children even get tuition and expenses to go to college. They have it far better than most. They are living after tax as upper middle class and never have to wake up and go to work. No fear of foreclosure, eviction, losing a job, lawsuits, not being able to afford medical care etc. If they get sued the welfare case worker goes down to court and kills any collection action against them. These people have a utopia for themselves in a perverted way now. Try telling them hey the republic has been restored, no more free money, get to work or you don't eat. They are footloose and fancy free with no cares. There are many millions of these people and they will get mad if you restore the republic and say hey it's time to get a job.

I am not saying the blind and crippled. People get on these programs because they alcoholics, drug addicts, obese, prostitutes, have add or adhd and the list goes on. No one interested in restoring the republic wants to support these people by income paying taxes so they cannot work. It sounds nice to say we will carry them for a few years until the economy can support them with jobs. Hey you are on third and fourth generation of these people. They are not going to work. Mommy, daddy, grandpa, grandma great grandma and great grandpa never worked. These people will be hot when you try to take their gravy train away from them just because you do not want to go to work every day to support them. They do not form militias but they do riot and destroy property, usually their own. Riots need to be contained and can be very costly in terms of property damage.

This is a real problem. It is easily solved in ga ga land when the pied piper of the movement says oh we have enough money raised to run the support systems until we integrate them into society as functional members. They are not going to integrate in so easily folks. Rioting in the past have worked well for them so that is likely what they will do. They think it is their right to be supported in style. Their community organizers will not be able to get laws passed making you support them since they would be unconstitutional. They will not like the end of the democracy since republic means pulling your own weight. This problem cannot be swept under the rug or you will have millions rioting.

Illegal Aliens – There can be up to 20 million by some estimates. A restored republic is going to want to remove these people and close borders. They will not like this. The families and friends of these people in the land lawfully will get mad. Think riots and demonstrations. Some of these folks are into serious criminality (the illegals) and the fighting can resemble militia units. This is going to need dealing with and that costs money, lots of money. Who does this and pays for this? The rangers, the state militias, the marshals? Where are these people now? What about training, equipment, funding. Once these people understand what it is the new republic is up to they will lash out right away with violence. More problems.

Military Funding – It is mind boggling to even contemplate what the military costs to run for an hour, let alone a year. How do the military heads feel about downsizing the military and making it affordable. Do we really need troops in 80 countries or is just the homeland enough? Since we never officially hear from the military we do not have these answers.

Federal Employees – We have a Dept of Education that teaches nothing. We have a dept of Commerce that does not engage in Commerce. We have a Dept of Agriculture that grows nothing. We have Food and Drug Administration that makes no medicine or drugs. We have Justice Dept that has no justice. We have a Homeland Security that does not make the homeland secure. We can go on with a bigger list. Do you really want these agencies to continue? Can these people be trusted to work in law enforcement for the restored republic. If you close them down more unemployed. The de facto has millions of employees now. See the problems. If you keep these people where is the money going to come from to pay them? Do you have a problem contributing some taxes to keep them working? Lay off all these federal employees and you are going to make a long list of enemies. What to do?

Taxes – Ok some taxes will be needed. Imagine trying to get everyone to agree on how much and for what. Look how good we are at coming together now? Rest my case.

Summary – When you look at a movement get right into the funding. Don't let this be something for down the road. You could be wasting your time only to find out there is no viable path to the funding. The easiest way would be to grab the federal reserve bank nationalize it and run with fiat money until something could be worked out. What – not sure but over time think tanks could be recruited to work out the details. Eliminating the debt to the private bankers will strengthen the FRN value. This is absolutely not constitutional and will only appeal to a practical minded sovereign who just wants to get the job done fast. Time is indeed short. You keep taking runs at them and watch their reaction.
