Executive Summary – There is now a growing support for the Tea party. Is this such a good thing? Is it better than what is now out there (Dem and Rep)? We are encouraged by Bill Clinton throwing a few punches at the Tea Party:
Former President Bill Clinton is no Tea Partier, but he understands where the movement's frustration is coming from. Moreover, he's not sure that demonizing the Tea Party is going to win Democrats any elections in November. "I'm not sure [the Tea Party] is going to be a good thing for Democrats," Clinton told CBS' Bob Schieffer on "Face The Nation" yesterday. "I think that, first of all, the Tea Party insurrection, if you will, that you see in these primaries reflects the feeling of a lot of Americans that they're getting the shaft...there's a general revolt against bigness that, in the case of the Republicans is always directed more against the government than the private sector. It's totally understandable."
That said, Clinton made it clear he wasn't lobbying for a speaking spot at the next Glenn Beck rally. The whole Tea Party movement still concerns him. "The thing that bothers me about the Tea Party movement is two things...according to the profiles and studies that have been done, it's being bankrolled by the people who want to weaken the government so there can be even more unaccounted for private concentration of power...and the second thing that bothers me is that it's hard to know where they stand on these specific issues. Do they want to repeal the financial oversight bill? Do they want to repeal rather than reform the health care thing? Do they really want to repeal the student loan reform bill?...I don't know where they stand, but I get why they're popular."

We are also encouraged by Newt Gingrich throwing some stones at the Tea Party:
Newt Gingrich said that he expects the Tea Party movement to evolve into "the militant wing of the Republican Party" at a speaking engagement in Pennsylvania on Wednesday night, the York Dispatch reports.
Gingrich described the Tea Party's sentiment towards Washington as "natural" and argued that people are entitled to the "pursuit of happiness."
The York Dispatch reports on Gingrich's remarks regarding the future of the conservative movement:
Gingrich said the movement is a "natural expression of frustration with Republicans and anger at Democrats," which is "more likely to end up as the militant wing of the Republican Party" than as an independent or third party.
The Dispatch also reports that while many of those attending the event held by the Manufacturers' Association of South Central Pennsylvania seemed to support Gingrich's conclusions, some members of the audience did not agree with his characterization of the Tea

Iowa Tea Party – They put up this bill board comparing Obama to Hitler and Lenin. For this we applaud them greatly. The billboard did come down but the picture of it is below:

Tea Part Contract with America- The principles of the Tea Party can be found here:
We will list them here and comment on them:
Require each bill to identify the specific provision of the Constitution that gives Congress the power to do what the bill does. (82.03%)
Comment – This is probably not going to do much. Congress feels it can regulate guns sold interstate even though the constitution never gave this right to the Fed. Numerous other instances. Needs to be penalties for those attempting to pass unconstitutional laws. Need de jure grand juries. The de facto courts will not regulate the Congress. This is avery weak claim. Congress says it is constitutional, cites the section they misinterpret and that is the end. Sorry not going to do much good. No real oversight.
Stop costly new regulations that would increase unemployment, raise consumer prices, and weaken the nation’s global competitiveness with virtually no impact on global temperatures. (72.20%)
Comment – Good, all good.
Begin the Constitutional amendment process to require a balanced budget with a two-thirds majority needed for any tax hike. (69.69%)
Comment – On surface sounds good but do you want the next four or five generations of your descendants paying the private federal reserve bankers this ill gotten interest?
Adopt a simple and fair single-rate tax system by scrapping the internal revenue code and replacing it with one that is no longer than 4,543 words—the length of the original Constitution. (64.90%)
Comment – Sounds good but not striking at the beast which is the private federal reserve bank. Without eliminating this all the problems will return.
Create a Blue Ribbon taskforce that engages in a complete audit of federal agencies and programs, assessing their Constitutionality, and identifying duplication, waste, ineffectiveness, and agencies and programs better left for the states or local authorities, or ripe for wholesale reform or elimination due to our efforts to restore limited government consistent with the US Constitution’s meaning. (63.37%)
Comment – Sounds good but where is the enforcement and who appoints such people? Not the government!
Impose a statutory cap limiting the annual growth in total federal spending to the sum of the inflation rate plus the percentage of population growth. (56.57%)
Comment – Sounds good but not addressing the Federal Reserve.
Defund, repeal and replace the recently passed government-run health care with a system that actually makes health care and insurance more affordable by enabling a competitive, open, and transparent free-market health care and health insurance system that isn’t restricted by state boundaries. (56.39%)
Comments – Very good.
Authorize the exploration of proven energy reserves to reduce our dependence on foreign energy sources from unstable countries and reduce regulatory barriers to all other forms of energy creation, lowering prices and creating competition and jobs. (55.51%)
Comments – Sounds good.
Place a moratorium on all earmarks until the budget is balanced, and then require a 2/3 majority to pass any earmark. (55.47%)
Comments – Sounds good but not striking at the root the federal reserve.
Permanently repeal all tax hikes, including those to the income, capital gains, and death taxes, currently scheduled to begin in 2011. (53.38%)
Comments – Sounding good but avoiding the bankster issues. Is window dressing, nothing more. I would be impressed if I heard them say a flat tax of 15% on money spent. This they are not saying. Fox News would not back them if they were any good.
Analysis – You can see the Tea Party is going to do very little. A real change movement has to eliminate the banksters death grip on the country by dumping the federal reserve bank. There is no chance of real change with out this. All the Tea Party principles leave the illegal ponzi scheme intact. Do you think it is possible that the banksters are throwing the people the Tea Party to shut them up with superficial changes. The banksters can live without the health care plan. They can live with a balanced budget that keeps lining their pockets with the interest debt burden payments for generations. Forget hard backed currency. Forget returning to the constitution. Forget de jure grand juries. Forget gun laws. Forget dumping the IRS. What about foreclosures? What about fighting economic wars on foreign soil. What about the UN? What about illegal immigration? What about no birth certificate Obama. The list goes on.
The Tea Party is superficially better than the democrats and republicans but the changes they bring about will be hardly noticeable. You will not be very free with Tea Party principles. Let's look at Glenn Beck and his restoring honor. He was praising military heroes while the real military hero was trying to refuse Obama orders challenging Obama as not being qualified to be the President. Beck never mentioned this patriot. The Tea Party looks like more of the Republocrats to me. The one thing it might do is pull some congressional seats from the democrats and thus freeze Obamas congress which is not Democrat controlled. This may stop him from getting his garbage bills passed. It will also prevent a republican controlled house too. So if congress is frozen in a deadlock “we the people” benefit because they have not done anything good in many decades. Sick situation isn't it?
