Introduction – We get a number of calls from people asking us to investigate a particular business or Company in Panama. Usually they are thinking of investing some money in or with this company. We can research a company for a client here in Panama.
Details of Company Research – We check in the public registry to make sure the business has the correct licenses and that they are current. We then verify that the corporation is in good standing. Next we go to the database and see if we can find any lawsuits or other forms of complaints against this company. Lastly we have a very experienced high-ranking Police Officer on his own time go around and visit the site of the business. He can walk in and see what he can see and ask the receptionist innocent enough questions never letting on that he is investigating the company. Then he will talk to the neighbors and see what he can learn about the business again never letting on what is really going on. Then he will talk to the security staff of the building if there is such a staff but again never letting on what is going on. He will appear to be a regular guy asking some questions. We will also verify if their phone works and if it is listed in Panama City or if it is just a prepaid cell phone.
The off duty policeman will take several pictures of the building, the exterior of the office the halls etc. This will give you a better idea of who and what you are dealing with.
Fees – The fee to investigate a company in Panama City is $1000. For a company more than 20 miles out of Panama City the fee is $1500. All fees are paid up-front by wire transfer or western union.
