Executive Summary – Now they are doing body pat searches after the latest scare on a plane. This will degrade the rights of people and do precious little if anything to enhance security. Was there ever one airplane hijacking ever that a sky marshall stopped in progress? No! They whoever in the government they are are calling for more body scanners that electronically image one nude. What is missing is the body cavity searches. This will be the final blow to the dignity of the people and break them down severely. The message is the government can go inside your body in the most humiliating way whenever it wants to and you can do nothing about it. As soon as some nut case inserts a syringe in their anus or vagina and gets caught then we are into body cavity searches. The scanners would show this but it will be years until they are in full play all over.
Discussion – All this security they do is reactionary. They are unable to preempt attacks; instead they react to attacks or attempts. Poor security at best. Next one would have to think the government wants to bankrupt the airlines and take control over them. This is something the government would like in that it would enhance the power they have over travel and facilitate the ease of travel for those they wish to do this for. If the latest and greatest security measures do not push the airlines into bankruptcy leading to government take over then I would think the body cavity searches would be next.
