Executive Summary – The only states prohibiting open carry are as follows: California, New York, New Jersey, Maryland (please note all these states have amazingly unsafe streets, homes and high crime rates) and Iowa and Minnesota. Arizona is currently getting ready to present a bill to their governor eliminating the need for a carry permit to carry a concealed handgun. Alaska and Vermont have similar laws. Based on the second amendment no permit to carry any gun should be needed. They are getting bills in congress to force states to recognize gun permits of those from another state like driver licenses. The fed now will never approve this now.
